Testing, Does This Thing Work?Posted on Tue, 14 Jun 2011 10:00:18 +0000
One of the first things that you should do when you create a new QR Code is to test it and see if it works. Nothing like printing off a bunch of codes that leads back to the wrong website! Fear not, MobiBrix has your back.
So let’s first think about the situation that if you happen to type the wrong URL when you create your code. Then you accidentally forget to test your code and finally someone scans it and the website is about how to properly groom your cat, which is not what you do for a living.
When you finally figure it out that the URL is not what you intended, don’t freak out, everything will be fine. Simply log into your MobiBrix account and change the URL. You won’t need to print off more codes or track all of the previous ones down to burn. You will, on the other hand, need to make an announcement that the cat website was a joke.
Now, before you run off and think everything is fine, let’s do something that could have saved you all that hassle to begin with. Let’s test that code. MobiBrix makes checking your codes easy with the test button.
After you’ve created your code, or even after you’ve changed the URL to your MobiBrix code, click this test button. Once you’ve done that, it will lead you right to the website that you entered. If the website is as you intended, you’re good to go!
